Last week, we were on vacation in Washington D.C. and New York. Our vacation started at 6am on September 4th when we caught the earliest plane to Washington D.C. We spent the first day exploring the city, we went to the white house, walked the mall, went to the Jefferson… basically we walked over 10 miles. It was quite crazy and dumb blonde me left her tennis shoes in San Antonio. Lets just say my feet hurt incredibly bad. The next day played out pretty much the same, lots of walking and sight seeing. We also hit a few museums and had dinner with some good friends of ours that live there. 25+ miles later, we hopped on the amtrak to New York. And our awesome vaca continued… fyi We took over 1500 photos so I decided not to bore you and only shared 10! Hope your Tuesday is going good, I am still trying to get back in the swing of my work schedule. – Here’s to hoping I get more sleep this week!

We probably walked right by each other, lady. My husband and I live right outside DC and decided to have our one year anniversary in the city, so we were there the 5-7th. Aren’t the memorials awesome? You took some great pictures!

I love DC and NYC! I was in DC a few weeks ago to see The Lion King at the Kennedy Center. If you ever make it back, I definitely recommend seeing a show there!

Would you believe that DC is one place we’ve never been? It’s definitely on the hit list and these pictures confirm that we need to make it happen sooner than later!
