10 Verses When You’re Experiencing Change
Change can be a scary thing. If there is one thing I don’t like, its change. I like things the same. I like Taco Tuesday, the same morning routine and movies before bed. However, life tends to throw curve balls every now and then. Here are 10 verses that have really helped me through seasons of change in my life:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. – Hebrews 13:8
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. -Psalm 18:2
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. -Philippians 4:6-8

Deuteronomy 31:6 is one of my favorites. I have issues with my anxiety, so I hold this verse near and dear during those times, too.
