Finding a blog-life balance can be extremely hard. I consider myself a full time blogger and working mama. Between my job, Brooke, my husband and Simply Clarke, I don’t have a ton of down time. Because of this, I have a plan and process in place for each of these things. I use certain blogging tools and strategies that help me to be successful and manage my time effectively. Without some of these amazing blogging resources, I wouldn’t be able to maintain my schedule.
Planner
I’m talking handwritten, color coded, amazing planner. I just received my Emily Ley Planner and I cannot wait to start using it. (Sidenote: Grab yours before they sell out! They are seriously so awesome!!!) I keep my entire work, personal and blogging schedule in my planner. This is my catch all, life line. I highly recommend a written planner for keeping everything organized. I even plan out social media in mine.
Ahalogy
For me, Pinterest is right up their with Instagram. I love it and I love Ahalogy. It is a company I use to schedule out my pins and promote my site. I absolutely love working with them. They make scheduling my posts and others simple and easy.
Afterlight
Afterlight is one of those things I was nervous about purchasing and I have never regretted it for a second. I use Afterlight to edit every one of my photos. It is amazing! I love how it makes all of my pictures look, well worth the $.99.
WordPress Editorial Calendar
WordPress Editorial Calendar is an amazing WordPress Plugin. I use it to brainstorm post ideas and actually put them to dates on my blog. This is a huge tool for me, because it helps me get all of my ideas onto an actual calendar. I can easily look at the month and see what post ideas I need to brainstorm. It is such a great tool!
Photoshop
Another tool I use weekly is Photoshop. I use photoshop to create all of the images and collages on my blog. It is so easy to use and everything always looks so sleek and clean. It is well worth the $$.
Tweetily
Tweetily is another awesome wordpress plugin I use. Sweetly automatically shares my old posts to twitter for me. I tell it how many hours I want between each post and which categories to pull the old posts from. It is a fantastic tool that saves me a lot of time.
