After taking two months off from Stitch Fix, I decided that it was time to start building up my fall wardrobe, so I ordered my September 2016 Stitch Fix box. I was extremely excited that my fix arrived three days early, just in time for last weekend. I had a lot of fun going through my box and trying on all of the items. If you are confused right now, basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience to your front door. To sign up, you go to the Stitch Fix website, fill out a style profile and then decide on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing, shoes, or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you are going to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope. It is super easy and a fun way to shop!
Here we go, check out what was in my 18th box and let me know what you think I should keep.
Johni Cargo Jacket
I have been looking for a great olive cargo jacket for fall and when I pulled this out of my box, I was so excited. I couldn’t wait to see how it fit. I immediately loved it, it is just such a staple piece. This was also Kevin’s favorite, so I’m pretty sure it’s staying at our house.
Jeanne Printed Cardigan
I really like the detail of this cardigan and the neutral colors. I feel like it is a great lightweight option to throw on with a tank. It fit really well and was very soft.
Annaway Cable Knit Sweater
At first glance, I really liked the color of this sweater, then I tried it on and hated it. I felt really large and like it didn’t flatter my body at all. Then, I took photos in it and really liked it. I’m on the fence about this one, I love that it is loose fitting and thick.
Muller Ruffle Detail Blouse
Oh, burgundy. It was my color of choice for fall last year and I really like the style of this top. It was probably my favorite of this fix (well really close with the jacket). The fit was perfect and just my style. This will be great paired with a cardigan on cooler days.
Greenville Henley Top
I may have two tops almost exactly like this one, but still found myself wondering if I should keep it. I just love olive so much already for this year. This top fit really well and I loved the sleeve detail, as well as, the material.
Overall, my first stitch fix of fall was a huge hit! My stylist really nailed my style and the direction I am headed for fall. Plus, she saw that I was expecting and made sure to send baby bump friendly choices. I love how personalized the shopping is with Stitch Fix. If you haven’t taken the leap and tried Stitch Fix out, you should really order your first box for fall!
