After seven and half weeks, I can finally say that I am starting to really get in a routine with the babes. The first couple of weeks adjusting to having two kids was pretty hard for us. You have to adjust your mind and schedule so much to accommodate two and Brooke always needs me while I’m trying to nurse brother. Plus, they are little chain reactions… one cries, they both cry – then I want to cry. Not to mention, leaving the house is an adventure each and every time. You never know what you are going to get. I could have an angel toddler who sits in the cart or stroller well or one that wants to throw her shoes off and get down.
Another thing I had to get down was our diaper bag situation. I mean how do you pack for two different ages that have completely different needs?! If you have been around here for a little while, you know that I am handbag lover. The first baby item I wanted to get this time around was another diaper bag and I immediately knew I wanted a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. I had my eye their bags when Brooke was born and decided it was time to invest in one with our second babe. They are so chic and classic. I love simple bags that have an opening at the top and their bags meet all my must haves. On top of that, they have an amazing design selection and the quality is unreal. I am absolutely in love with my first Petunia Pickle Bottom Downtown Canvas tote, so I was very excited when the new Summer Capsule collection hit the shelves.
Their Summer Capsule collection combines the classic navy and red colors of summer with bold and modern geometric patterns. The limited-edition collection features five of their most popular products for summer adventures and getaways (Downtown Tote, Travel Train Case, Crossover Clutch, Altogether Tote and Powder Room Case). Plus, you can get them just in time for Mother’s Day! I am loving the Terraces of Tarrasa Altogether Tote.
I am typically more drawn to navy prints, but when I saw this red one, I had to have it! With the Altogether Tote, I feel like I can handle whatever the “outing” brings. This diaper bag is versatile enough to pack for one babe or two and even transitions to a tote for the modern mom. It also features a clever, Take-Along Changing Kit for easy changes on the go. It is very similar to the Downtown Tote and just as perfect. I also have the Powder Room Case in the Terraces of Tarrasa print which is great to help you keep those small items in your diaper bag organized.
Check out the complete collection for yourself, the Catalonia print (navy) is so adorable as well. You can receive this shopper tote free with a $75 minimum purchase (nursery/bath/room decor items will not count toward the $75 minimum, and other exclusions may apply) until 5/9. And, because Petunia Pickle Bottom is amazing, they are hosting an amazing giveaway! The winner will receive their choice of the three products in the Catalonia print (navy) OR the two products in the Terraces of Tarrasa (red) print.
