Our lives get busy, we focus on our to do lists and we often forget that even the littlest things can bless our marriage so much. I really believe that the little things count so much and bring life to your marriage. Having fun and laughing can be the best medicine for a struggling marriage or the life-bread of a thriving marriage. Take some time and use one of these ways to brighten your husband day today!
Serve him breakfast in bed
Send him a sweet (or flirty) text
Make his favorite dinner
Leave a note for him in his lunch
Pick up his favorite candy and leave it on his pillow
Give him a massage
Surprise him with tickets to his teams game
Make a playlist of “your songs” and leave it in their car
Leave a trail of encouraging notes around the house for him
Bake him fresh cookies
Take a minute and tell him why you love him
Wash his car (or get it washed for him)
Rent a movie he has been wanting to see
Get them a small gift they have been wanting just because
Set up a “bro night” for him and his guy friends
Find a picture from when you first dated and write “I’ve loved you for ___ days on the back”
Surprise him at work for lunch together
Do one of their chores for them (take out the trash, unload the dishwasher)
Visit a memorable place from your relationship. Go back to where you kissed for the first time, or proposed, etc.
Set an alarm in their phone that will go off in the middle of the day with special words
Recreate your first movie night together
Plan a surprise date night for him
Let him control the TV remote without complaining
Leave a dart gun at the front door with a note that says be prepared and have a war when he opens the door.
Hit the town to do one of favorite activities (think top golf, bowling, anything active!)

Thank you so much for this list of ideas! It is amazing that
a few minutes of some uninterrupted intentional time together laughing can
really encourage and connect you to your spouse again! My hubby’s love language
is acts of service so anything I can do to help him really puts a smile on his
face. I don’t do these thing on an everyday basis, but it definitely brightens
his day when I pack his lunch, cook his breakfast, or iron a shirt for him.
Those fifteen minutes of my time really make my husband feel loved. I think out
of your list the one I should try next is number three, make his favorite
dinner. He loves lasagna and we haven’t had it in a while. That might have to
be a frozen dinner though since I have NEVER cooked lasagna! 🙂
