Lord,
In this week of “Thankfulness” I want to stop and thank you for all you have done in my life. You have revealed yourself to me and given me the greatest gift of knowing you. All of my joy comes from you.
Thank you for saving me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for pursuing me. Thank you for giving me the perfect example of how to love.
I also want to thank you for giving me the gift of my husband. You have given me a perfect gift and I am so extremely thankful. Lord, I confess that more times than not, I don’t see my spouse as a gift. I confess that I am selfish. I have my own wants and my own needs and I get easily upset when those are not being met.
I am full of flaws. Thank you for sending my spouse to love me. Thank you for sending my spouse to show me grace. Thank you for sending my spouse to show me a picture of Your love. We seek for our marriage to be a picture of Your love and we thank you.
Thank you for the wonderful gift of my spouse and may I treat them like Christmas morning each day. Show me ways to express thankfulness to my husband so that he knows how much he is loved and valued.
In your name I pray. AMEN.
Konadu Dora
I love all your prayers. I need to appreciate my husband
