Reading lists have been among the most popular posts on Simply Clarke (specifically 11 Must Read Marriage Books) and honestly, I have been really wanting to read more this year, so I this is my current 2019 reading list. I am so excited about it for two reasons 1. It includes several books that have been out a long time and I just haven’t had time to ready them #becausekids – like Girl, wash your face. 2. Creating this list and ordering a few of these led me to new finds from some of my favorite authors. I am so excited to dive into The Better Mom devotional first! I’m a sucker for a great devotional, so I am pumped to read Shaunti’s two on this list. Kevin and I read her marriage books (For Men Only and For Women Only) and LOVED them so I am excited for the devotionals. What is your number one book on your reading list right now?
*Update: I have started reading The Better Mom Devotional and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite devotionals. I feel like every day I pick it up it is speaking directly to me that day. It is such a good read and so practical for parenting. It has a verse of the day, short but meaningful message and take away questions for the day. Oh, and it has a prayer for the day. It is such a good resource for the modern mom. I am also hoping to actually start Girl, Wash Your Face soon. I know, I’m so lame and super behind but I’m excited to start reading! Maybe I will actually start before her next book comes out… or maybe not..lol.
