Mantel Decor | Chalkboard | Mailbox | Pillow
Wreath | Pumpkins | Little Details | Centerpiece
This year since we still aren’t in our house yet, I am day-dreaming and making my lists. Next year, I might go slightly crazy in the decorating department because I feel like I’ve missed the past year. My list of centerpieces and wreaths just keeps getting longer. I am loving the white pumpkin trend this season and my kiddos really want to decorate one.
I am also EXTREMELY missing my wreaths. I love decorating my front door area and the wreath above is just so cute. It is very similar to my fall wreath, except my current one does not have a monogram. Since ours has been in storage for over a year, I may need to buy a new anyways and I’m really leaning toward another fall monogram wreath.
One of my other favorite things for the front door area is a welcome mat. In the past we have always just had one welcome mat for our house, but I am really wanting to get a few seasonal ones like this “hey there pumpkin” one above. They are just so cute! I have seen so many lately that just make you smile. I feel like they are a great “welcome” addition to your house.
At our new house, we won’t be able to have rocking chairs in the front because we don’t have a big front porch. I am really going to miss this aspect but I hope they will go good on our back porch too.
Moving to the inside of the house, I love decorating the mantel and the dining room centerpiece. These are such focal points in the house so even a little decor goes a long way.
But, my kids favorite decor item is hands down the candy dish. I have a different candy dish for each holiday and season. They love finding M&Ms and other fun candies in the dish.
What is your favorite way to decorate for fall? If only I could decide between wreaths and doormats. Are you a wreath person? A doormat person? A centerpiece person? Let me know in the comments!

I am a huge DIY Wreath person. I love the idea of guests seeing a beautiful, welcoming wreath when they first arrive. I also love adding throw pillows and blankets to our couch. We have a big sectional and it’s usually full of friends and family so making it more comfy-cozy is something I like to do during this time of year.

I love the chalkboard! I’m so not creative but I would love to have one of those in my house to change with the season.
