Essentials, essentials, essentials. At the start of each season, I always take a mental inventory of my closet and make a list of what pieces I need to update. This year, I immediately knew I needed classic shoes. Specifically, flats. I only had one pair of leopard flats and no other colors. A shopping trip was in order to stock up my shoe selection. Here are my 3 Tips To Find Great Classic Shoes:
1. Head to Payless
I knew I needed multiple shoe options at an affordable price since I was going to need to buy so many. Payless offers styles that will make you look and feel great. They have a vast selection of products and I was very pleased with their selection of flats. I love the cap toe options above and the basic brown flats. I loved these three because they were simple and just what I was looking for in terms of value.
2. Check the Fit
Classic shoes mean nothing if they are uncomfortable. While the first priority is on trend styles at a great value, the second is comfort. Some might argue comfort should be first, but I’m on the side of trendy and a great price. But, lucky me, at Payless, you don’t have to settle in this category; every shoe I tried on was very comfortable.
3. Buy them in multiple colors
When you find something that works…. buy them in every color. That is my motto for shoes and t-shirts. I loved the black cap toe style so much that I bought them in nude as well. From there, I knew I wanted a brown option as well, and the ones above were very practical. Payless assortment of shoes may be different from what you remember, I know they have really expanded their options from what I remember.
Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase, they were classic, stylish and comfortable – all for a great value! But, don’t take my word for it, experience Payless for yourself this holiday season and take advantage of the most-up-to date, high-quality and affordable options. I couldn’t get your brown option 🙁 the link kept breaking! They look so cute! I’ve heard of dexflex and love them.
