I say this every month, but I can’t believe we have had 10 whole months of pure joy with our baby girl Brooke. I am starting to really realize that she is getting so bigย and growing like a weed. She is constantly learning new things and smiling. This month, Brooke has had a lot of visitors. Kevin’s sister, Jennifer, came down from Austin for the weekend and hung out with us. Brooke had so much fun playing with Aunt Jenn! Then, the next weekend, Kevin’s parents came down and visited us. Brooke wasn’t feeling the greatest these two weeks because she had a 104 fever, 4 new teeth coming in, ear infections and RSV. Overall, she was very tough and barely acted sick. We are very blessed with a happy baby who is such a trooper. It was very scary when her fever shot up so high, but we were thankful we got answers and that it wasn’t too serious. Poor girl has been constantly sick since November with ear infections. We are hoping that she won’t have to get tubes, but we aren’t sure yet.
The next weekend we went to Corpus to hang out with my cousin Abby for the weekend. Brooke had so much fun playing with Abby and she ate avocado for the first time! Then my parents came down this past weekend and Brooke had so much fun getting loved on by them. This month, Brooke has become way more active. She is crawling backwards (she can’t quite figure out how to go forwards yet) and she is constantly trying to move around. She can feed herself her snacks and said “mama” and “dada” for the time. She is also eating way more table food which we like because baby pouches are so expensive!

I agree with Brooke! I hate it whenever I’m out of food too ๐ Have a blessed week!
