Brooke LOVES LOVES LOVES bath time. We have a routine that we go through almost every night. After dinner, she plays a little bit, then we walk upstairs, and she goes straight to the bath tub and tries to climb in, clothes on and all. She knows when its bath time and loves getting to play in the water with all of her toys. Plus, she loves when Dada pours water over her head. She is that strange kid that doesn’t care if water is pouring down her face and her hair is all over the place, she eats it up. Here are some of our bath time favorites:
If you can’t tell, we really LOVE Johnson & Johnson products around here. We have always used their bath products for Brooke and they just smell so amazing. They moisturize her skin and keep it that way all day long.
Aquatopia Bathtime Safety Easy Kneeler
I didn’t have this kneeler for the first few months and boy do I wish I did. I am young, but it really helps protect my knees and makes bath time so much more comfortable for me. It is plush, stays in place and has little organization holders. The only thing that would make it better would be if it came in more neutral colors, but that is a minor detail.
This might be Brooke and Dada’s favorite. She will pick up this cup and hand it to Kevin to pour water over her head. In theory, it is suppose to help keep water out of your child’s eyes, but we don’t quite use it that way. Instead, it is a massive waterfall over Brooke’s head.
Once your baby starts to stand up in the tub, its a good idea to grab a pair of these bath treads. They help your baby grip the bottom of the tub without slipping so much.
These are a new addition to our tub and Brooke is loving them! I was hesitant about adding these too soon because Brooke still really likes to chew everything. I had a set of these when I was little and would play with them all time, but the chew marks on them, show that I had a little chewing problem too.
These are super fun! They float, they stack, they let water stream out. Basically, they are a great little toy that floats around and keeps Brooke interest. They are also a go to for traveling. Since they stack, they don’t take up that much space, so I normally take two of them for Brooke to play with on vacation.
Ah! Our favorite of all favorite bath toys, the squirties. She will fill them up and hand them to me to squirt her. I have no clue how she learned to fill them up herself, or if it was by accident but she has the best time with them.
These are fantastic, even not in the bath. They are good for teething babes, and just wipe right off. We are really working on letters, numbers and colors right now, so I am loving how simple these books are as well.
An essential for the end of bath time. I really like hooded towels and how cute Brooke looks running around the house with it on her head as cape.
Again, an essential for the cleaning process of bath time. While bath time is a lot of play, we do give Brooke a bath as well.
You can get all of these items from our favorite baby store, buybuy BABY. At our last visit, Brooke picked out new bath books, as well as, the foam letters and numbers. On our next trip, I am going to let her pick out some new toys. I can’t wait to see her reaction. She always loves going shopping with me. buybuy BABY has the best selection and awesome knowledge staff to help you.

My little one is just starting to have fun with bath time and I am on the lookout for some cute toys for her to play with. I may need to get those foam letters. They look like so much fun!
