I’m sharing #JOHNSONS in my life as part of a JOHNSON’S® sponsored series for Socialstars™
Some of you know that I have always called Brooke’s daycare, “school”. They really teach the kids and put a lot of emphasis on learning which I love. Anyways, with fall, comes a busier schedule at work for me. We have started doing a few things to really help with the busy season and eliminate stress.
Grocery Delivery
Last week I shared that I have started trying our a grocery delivery service to really cut down on time spent at the grocery store. It was incredibly convenient and made it so simple. Normally, I would spend an hour at the grocery store on Thursday or Friday afternoon with Brooke, and now, we can be home playing or doing other things and our groceries are delivered right to our door.
JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® Cleansing Cloths
I talked about these a few weeks ago being a must have for summer days, but now I am loving them even more for fall. Brooke has always had really sensitive skin and since the dry season is upon us, I am trying harder than ever to keep her skin clear and soft. JOHNSON’S® cleansing cloths are pre-moistened are pre-moistened, paraben- and phthalate-free and 2x* bigger than a typical baby wipe so you can have bath time whenever, wherever your baby needs it. This allows a gentle clean without the tub and water. There’s no need to rinse, leaves no residue, and won’t dry out baby’s skin. Plus, you can use them on the go. This is perfect for later nights at activities when there isn’t time for a full bath.
Dinner Planning
Making sure I have a plan for the week, especially a dinner plan, helps our week run so much smoother. I look at our schedule and see which days I will have time to make larger meals, and which days need quick meals then I schedule everything out. Having a plan for dinner, make nights go a lot smoother. Now, we are also flexible in our house, because lets face it, when your pregnant, sometimes you just change your mind on what sounds good. So, I have a “flexible” plan.
Schedule
Use a planner. A real life, paper planner is my bff of resources. I write everything down so I don’t forget things I need to do. I have all of my work stuff written out, all of my blog stuff and all of our personal to dos in one place. This is huge for a busy schedule.
Divide Up Cleaning
Another thing we have been doing is dividing up the cleaning over several days. We haven’t had many full days to get things done, so we have been doing a little at a time each day to keep the house clean and work in the yard. This really helps keep everything manageable and leaves me feeling great, not overwhelmed.
