I like to be busy. I like having a to-do list, and I love checking tasks off of my list. However, I love efficiency more. Raise your hand if you’re Type A like me! But, that has all pretty much flown out the window since becoming a parent. There is really nothing efficient about a baby/toddler. I’ve really honestly never felt so inefficient in my life. While that has been a pretty big adjustment, it has also been an easy one. As much as I love pretty planners with lists, I love playing with Brooke more. I love family time more. Since deciding to stay at work full time, blog full time, mommy full time and wife full time, I have had to make a few other changes in my life. Let me introduce you to the newest change, Shipt.
Shipt is a grocery delivery service that really simplifies your life. Shipt makes grocery shopping fast, simple and convenient. It is incredibly easy. All you do is sign for a membership and download the Shipt app. Then, you select your groceries, choose delivery options and check out. See, simple. After that, they do the rest. They have a local shopper shop for your groceries and then deliver them right to your door.
Let me share how this was even more practical for my week. We are “list” people like I said, so we always have a grocery list going. With Shipt, as soon as I think of something we need, I just add it to my cart for the week and it stays there even if I close the app. This feature is HUGE to me. I love being able to add items on the go, whenever, wherever I think of them. There is also a notes section for each item so you can say if you want green bananas, or ripe bananas, etc. Basically, you can communicate with your shopper even more.
On the day of my delivery, my shopper sent me a text introducing herself and letting me know that she was beginning to shop for my order. She also texted me when she was on her way to deliver the items. I really like this as well, because your shopper stays in communication with you if they have questions. For example, if an item would have been out of stock, my shopper would have texted me to see if I wanted a different brand or what to do.
Shipt makes it so easy to grocery shop and save time. Another added benefit, was that it happen to be pouring down rain the first time I used Shipt. I cannot tell you how thankful I was that someone was grocery shopping for me, in the rain, so that I didn’t have to drag Brooke out in the bad weather. It can be hard to shop with kids, especially when its raining, so I was very thankful.
Overall, my first experience with Shipt went really well! All of their prices are clearly marked, delivery is free for members on orders over $35 and our shopper even brought me a flower! Simplify your life with Shipt. You will love it! Plus, get $10 in free groceries and two weeks free if you sign up HERE!

This is so cool! One of the reasons we got Amazon Prime was to avoid going to the store so much and the convenience. I am going to have to check into this because it would be really convenient once the baby comes in February when I don’t want to leave the house!

Brittany FryYou should! It is so great, I wish I would have known about it when Brooke was born. It would have made life a lot easier!
