Lets be real, the holidays are just plain busy. Then, they get crossed off when their gift arrives. I have another checklist for “to dos” like buy wrapping paper, wrap gifts, mail Christmas cards etc. Then I have my normal “to do” check list. Having these is really helping me keep organized and SANE! I try to check a few things off each day so I’m not overwhelmed.
Work Out

Coffee Breaks
Ahh! Yes, coffee breaks. I mean if you are going to be this busy, you will need caffeine. Can I get an amen?! Take those precious moments to yourself and enjoy your favorite coffee. I tend to have mine every morning when I first get to work. I arrive early, sip on my coffee, read my devotional, then answer emails before anyone is even in the office yet. It is a great “me moment” in the mornings. On weekends, I do the same thing, but just tend to have Disney Jr. on the tv for Brooke in the background.
Christmas Movies
Another relaxing guilty pleasure of mine is watching Christmas movies my hubby. We have a full lineup of Christmas movies that we watch every year and it is our down time at night. It is so relaxing to just cuddle up and watch movies. Plus, it gets us in the Holiday spirit. You can’t go wrong with a good movie.
