This month has been pretty uneventful compared to last month. We didn’t travel anywhere and we didn’t have anyone come in town, which is a huge change from last 4 moths. With being on bedrest and then having Baby Kev Kev, we have had lots of company. It has been nice to start to get in a little routine, but a lot of days are still tough balancing two. This month we did have a friends’ birthday party one weekend which was fun. We enjoyed getting out and the kids had a great time too. Last week, we also got to go on our first date night out with no kids! It was VERY nice to get away for a couple hours and just have dinner with Kevin.
Baby Kev Kev, or Brother as we call him, has grown so much this month! I feel like he is really starting to look bigger and gain weight. He moved to Size 1 Diapers and is in 0-3 month clothes now. We moved him up in clothes mainly because of how long he is, but he is starting get a little chub in his cheeks too. Overall, he is a great baby! He sleeps from about 10:30pm – 7am each night which is glorious (I wrote about our secret to sleep with a newborn last week). His worst hour of the day is hands down between 6-7pm. He always, always, always starts to get fussy when I am trying to cook dinner or sit down to eat. It gets pretty frustrating.
Unlike his sister, he LOVES tummy time. I was convinced no baby likes tummy time, but this kid really does so far. He has also been struggling with nursing some, I am hoping this is a phase and that nothing is wrong, we will see at his doctor check up. He makes the cutest faces and I just want to hold him all the time. Sister is still OBSESSED with him. She likes to know where he is, and always “helps” with him. It is the cutest!
Last month, I shared about our love for the BounceRoo and this month, I wanted to tell you about Baby Elephant Ears. We had these for Brooke and they were so great in her carseat, stroller and around the house. Baby Elephant Ears is a multi-use infant headrest providing spinal/neck alignment and comfort. They help keep their little baby heads in place and are so soft! They come in the cutest prints and so adorable. Check them out!
