I find myself staring at Baby Kevin a lot and trying to soak in every moment. Its so crazy how fast this “baby” stage flies by and they grow up before your eyes. This month could mostly be described as stressful yet rewarding. We are finally moved back closer to our family and that part is so so sweet. We love getting to see our parents multiple times a week and its so nice to see how much Brooke loves it. We have spent a lot of time getting Kevin Sr.’s classroom ready and looking at houses/cleared lots. We had friends come in town one weekend this month and a big wedding the next! Each day still seems like we have more things on our to do list than spare time in the month. Our days have been long and stressful, but we are getting through it.
Baby Kevin has had a slightly rougher month. He tends to be great in the morning, but then very fussy in the afternoon/night time. He is a big mama’s boy and only wants me to hold him upright and walk around with him. While I am soaking in his snuggles, I am exhausted. He also started eating cereal this month and is up to two servings a day (one in the morning and one at night). He is in size 2 diapers, 3-6 month clothes and has started to play with toys on his play mat. He also rolled over for the first time on his 4 month birthday and can now roll from back to front and front to back. He is super strong and still loves smiling and laughing.
Brooke is still VERY OBSESSED with her brother. She loves him so much. Her new thing is asking to hold him and she gets so excited when we let her. She just kisses him over and over. I think on average she kisses him about 30 times a day. She also loves that he is starting to play. When he is on his play mat, she sits by him and plays with him.
My baby product of the month are these NEW ED by Ellen DeGeneres 4 pack Muslin Blankets. When we found out Baby Kevin was a boy, I immediately knew I wanted his nursery to be Navy and I was sad that I couldn’t find a good navy muslin blanket set. I was beyond excited when these came out this month and had to have them! Plus the matching bibs are perfect for starting solids!
