One Holiday down and another month closer to the MORE Holidays! We are very excited to be experiencing the Holidays this year. Since entering the “real” world, we have had one day off for Thanksgiving and two days for Christmas. Add traveling on top of that, and well, lets just say it was VERY hard!! We had a lot of fun gearing up for Halloween and taking Brooke tricker treating for the first time (even though it was pouring down rain!). Baby Kevin of course was along for the ride and but stayed dry inside with my parents. It was so nice getting to experience the night with my parents and grandmother. We are also in the process of getting our house plans drawn up
with our designer and moving along through our building process. Overall, this month has been productive with work, fun with family and… the best part, our nephew was born!!! We are over the moon excited and can’t wait to get our hands on the little guy during Christmas break.
Baby Kevin is excited to meet his new friend. This month was pretty rough on the Baby Kevin front. We had a few weeks where he was better, but then he got really fussy again. He also started waking up in the night and just whining. We tried different things and after a few days, he started sleeping through the night again. He is sitting up by himself now for a few minutes and he loves eating all kinds of food. He prefers to eat what we are eating over baby pouches, but still has them too. At his appointment a month ago, he weighed 16 pounds and he is in size 6-9 month clothes now. When he isn’t crying, the boy doesn’t stop smiling or laughing. He likes to play with toys and he loves when you talk to him.
Brooke has started playing with him and it is just so adorable. They play peek-a-boo together and share toys (and by share I mean he eats her toys and she says “no brother”). She gets excited when he sits up to play and I can’t wait to see how excited she gets when he starts crawling. I’m really hoping he is crawling around by Christmas.
Our favorite baby product of the month goes out to 4moms MamaRoo – it has served us WELL these past eight months but it is obviously time to pack this thing up. Baby Kevin has loved taking naps in his 4moms and we love the company so much. I highly recommend all of their products! Baby Kevin can sit himself up from laying down and he is trying to learn how to use a sippy. He hasn’t gotten the hang of it yet, but we have just started introducing him to it.
