Friends, I don’t know why it has taken me so long to jump on the Amazon bandwagon, but here I am! I have been finding such great products on amazon over the summer and decided it was time to share my TOP Amazon Prime Favorites of August 2019! This is such a random array of products, but I seriously love them all. You will find everything from fashion favorites, to home goods, beauty items and even books! I hope you enjoy and comment with your favorite Amazon find of the month, I would love to hear more great finds.
iWatch Band
First up is this iWatch band. I decided to try out Kevin’s iWatch this Summer and I quickly took his over, so I ordered this band on Amazon to make it a little more “girly”. I have always been a big Kate Spade and Michele watch fan, so this band really caught my attention. It is chunky, but girly and I just love it! Plus, it pairs great with my bracelet stack. They send you everything you need to take out your own links, but I highly suggest watching the Youtube video on it first before you adjust your links.
Make Up Brushes
Next up, this set up of make up brushes is such a steal. For $13.99 on prime, you seriously cannot beat this set! I have used MAC and Sigma brushes in the past, but just haven’t wanted to spend the money on new brushes lately, so I decided to try out this set. For only $13 I thought it was worth the try and I was TOTALLY right! These are amazing and just as good as my Sigma and MAC brushes. RUN and grab these ASAP if you are needing new ones. You won’t regret it!
Lip Mask
So, if you know me well, you know I ALWAYS have chapped lips. Like I live with dry lips, 24/7 – 365. I keep lip moisturizer on them constantly, but it is a struggle. I recently tried this Laneige Lip Mask and I love it! I use this every night before bed and when I wake up and notice such a difference in my lips. You can technically buy this at Ulta or Sephora as well, but Amazon is just so easy!
Candle
My ALL TIME favorite candles are Bridgewater candles and I love their white geo holder #019 design. While I typically buy these from my favorite local boutique, Magnolia Mey – they also have them on Amazon Prime. My favorite scent is Lets Celebrate followed very closely by Sweet Grace. Kevin hates candles and he even likes these!
Books
This is my current reading list! I buy all my books typically on Amazon and I am currently reading through The Better Mom Devotional daily and It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way. Next up on my list is Business Boutique! I highly recommend It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way – every time I read a chapter, I have been so filled up with truth and can just completely relate.
Learning Activities for Toddlers
I posted about Brooke learning how to write her name on Friday and I got a ton of questions about how we taught her so I thought I would include a little bit about it here. To be honest, my dad deserves all the credit because he worked with her every day for at least thirty minutes a day for 4 days in a row! The first thing they did was use these A-Z flashcards and work on letter recognition. They practiced uppercase by themselves and lowercase by themselves. The next activity they did was use this activity book to practice tracing letters. After that, we helped her memorize how to spell “Brooke” then wrote it out for her to copy on handwriting paper. As the days went on, she no longer needed us to write it first and she quickly learned all the letters in her name. I’m so incredibly proud of her and now we are just practicing once a day!
Fashion Item
The toddler fashion item of them is hands down Brooke’s new toddler gymnastics leotard. I let her pick it out on Amazon and she LOVES it! She wore it all night when it got here and can’t wait for her first gymnastics practice this week. My favorite fashion item of the month is this leopard tee! It is so so cute!!!
