This is our 5th year coming to Great Wolf Lodge (our 2nd year at Great Wolf Lodge – Webster, Texas) for Howl-O-Ween and we absolutely love it! If your trying to escape the crazy Texas heat or even enjoy a waterpark day during winter months, just wait until you hear about the thrilling indoor waterpark adventures that await you and your family at Great Wolf Lodge. From heart-pounding water slides to relaxing lazy rivers, there’s no shortage of fun to be had in the waterpark. They have an amazing Otter Cave Waterworks kid area that is perfect for Elementary age kids (complete with their ICONIC water bucket drop that drops hundreds of gallons of water as it fills up). They also have a Otter Springs which is great for toddlers and a wave pool thats fun for the whole family! Theres no shortage of slides, obstacles and fun throughout the park! Great Wolf Lodge Webster offers a variety of fun family activities that are sure to keep everyone entertained. From Howlers Peaks ropes course to the interactive MagiQuest game, there is no shortage of things to do together. My kids spent hours on the ropes course and the MagiQuest game is a big time favorite. Challenge each other to a game of mini-golf or try your hand at the arcade games. My husband and I played mini-golf several times while the kids were up on the ropes course. With so many options to choose from, you can easily spend hours exploring all the fun activities that Great Wolf Lodge Webster has to offer. They also have a Ten Paw Alley Bowling area and Virtual Frontier virtual reality experience.
Howl-O-Ween Activities
Typically from the last weekend in September until the end of October, they transform Great Wolf Lodge into a Howl-O-Ween themed celebration. They have a wide variety of seasonal festivities, designed to get everyone into the Halloween spirit. The spooktacular event typically includes the family favorite Trick-Or-Treat Trail where kids can dress in costume and visit different themed spots around the resort to “trick or treat”. They also have Monster Bash Dance Party that is really fun and Howl-O-Ween crafts, trivia and more. Its just a really fun way to kick off the season!

My number one tip for visiting Great Wolf Lodge is to purchase one of their activity passes. They have three different levels of passes that offer the attractions at discounted prices. We typically get their Wolf Pass and it includes so many activities and even ice cream! I also recommend purchasing a dining credit package. You can use your credit anywhere on site and you get a discount!
