My kids are not the healthiest eaters on the planet. They tend to be picky and like to eat the same things. However, as their mom, I have always strived to sneak in veggies when I can, give them their vitamins daily and choose organic options for them often. I value giving my kids organic, natural foods when possibly and I try to look for great brands that support their quickly developing bodies. Today, I want to introduce you to my newest find – Healthy Times.
A few weeks ago, while shopping in Central Market – we were introduced to Healthy Times through a food demo that was taking place. My kids immediately wanted to try the cookies and we were hooked! I grabbed a few boxes (or 6) and the kids munched on a few while we shopped in the store. They quickly became a favorite in our house.
I later learned that the brand was developed by a California mom in the 1980s after not being able to find many healthy baby food options in her local grocery stores. Since then, the company has continued to make wholesome baby products in the U.S. Healthy Times’ sustainable sourcing, organic ingredients, and lack of additives give moms a great, guilt-free option for toddler snacking!
My kids LOVE all of their cookies! The Healthy Times line up includes Organic Hugga Bear Cookies and the Organic Arrowroot Cookies, which are a great source of calcium, B vitamins, iron and zinc, without any added sugar. These toddler cookies are the perfect size for little hands and the snack pack version of the Hugga Bear Cookies are great for on the go. They taste delicious and my kids are constantly begging for more or stealing each others!
The Hugga Bear Cookies come in different bear shapes with a few butterfly-shaped cookies sprinkled in, and the Arrowroot Cookies are in the shape of a scalloped round flower with a hole in the middle. Both are similar in size, just different shapes. We love the Chocolate Chip Hugga Bear flavor and the Vanilla Arrowroot in our house the most! Both kinds of cookies are suggested for kids 12+ months.
As a mom, I love brands that grow with your child and they actually have products ranging toddler formula to baby cereal to teethers to cookies. They even introduced super convenient snack pack sizes that are perfect for on-the-go and lunches!! You all know how much I love “on the go snacks”!!
