Dear Baby Kev,
Oh my Boo Bear, this year was nothing like I expected. You had to grow up a little faster at the beginning of the year due to my strokes. You learned how to get in and out of the car by yourself and I couldn’t hold you as much. But, we found our way around it. You would curl up in my lap on the floor when I couldn’t lift you, and you were such a quick learner. Your vocabulary has grown so much in the past year. You are incredibly loving and sweet. You are all-boy, love to play outside, and can’t have enough balls to throw around. You are so fun.
You and your sister have become best friends. I love watching you two imaginative play around the house for hours. You take up for each other, play with each other and love each other immensely. I just want to freeze those moments in time. I cherish every second of seeing your bond grow with each other.
You are strong willed, but would do anything to make me smile (and I know exactly who you got that from). You love waking me up with kisses and asking for yo-yo (yogurt). You started your twos with a little bit of a temper, but are ending it doing much better at listening. You LOVE doing anything outside and want to play all the time. You love “comfy” clothes and building with blocks. You potty trained like a champ this year and I couldn’t have been more relieved.
I’ll never forget how fiercely you love me, how sweet your kisses are, and your love of chick-fil-a, m&ms and milky. You are currently memorizing the Lord’s Prayer and make me so proud. Your smile lights up the whole room and melts my heart. You get so excited when Daddy gets home from work and can’t wait to play. You love following Daddy around and want to be with the boys when they go outside.
We are heading into “threes” and I can’t wait to watch you grow and continue to become more independent. Every day with you is such a gift. You are truly loved and treasured my little man. Happy 3rd Birthday!!
I love you SO MUCH,
Mommy
