Spring is here and summer is on the horizon, that means temperatures here in Texas are on the rise and my kids are begging to be outside 24/7 to play! We are enjoying lots of time outside as a family and are so excited for Summer in just a few short weeks. I am starting to clean out the kids closets and make sure we are prepared for warm weather. Typically I love shopping, but heading to the mall with two kids in tow and having them try on stuff did not sound fun. I knew if I did tackle a mall trip, it would be an all day affair filled with snacks, potty stops, cry sessions, “I wants” and chaos. So, I opted for my favorite way to shop for stylish summer kids fashion, Stitch Fix Kids!
Stitch Fix Kids is just like “adult” Stitch Fix, but in kid sizes! I have a full length post on how it all works you can read here, or to start, you simply log into your Stitch Fix account (or create an account if you don’t have one yet) and add your child(ren) to it. (Account-sharing is only for children. If your spouse decides to join Stitch Fix, he or she will need to create a separate account.) Next, Clothes are available for girls and boys sizes 2T-14! You fill out a style profile for each child and then select a date for arrival. You can leave notes for your stylist just like you do for yourself. I told the kids’ stylist that I was looking for all things Summer to be prepared for warmer months.
The best part, they have great price ranges just like they do for adults. They have items starting at just $10! All you need to do is convey your price points to your stylist. Shipping and returns are free as always. And, you’ll receive a pre-paid envelope to ship back everything you do not want or things that don’t end up fitting.

Brooke was crazy excited when her fix arrived. I told her a box of clothes was coming for her and her brother to try on. Let’s just say she is really into clothes and LOVED everything! Baby Kevin, in typical boy fashion, wasn’t as interested but his sister even got excited about his fix too. Now, what you’ve been waiting for, here is a peek into what was in their fixes:
Brooke
Brooke’s fix was perfectly her style! She pulled everything out one by one and exclaimed how much she wanted to keep EVERYTHING. It was so fun watching her get so excited. My favorite part of her fix was how unique all of the pieces were. They were all very stylish and you just don’t see them everywhere. In her fix, she received:
Rennie Short Set
Mauvie Ruffle Collar Dress
Nori Lace Detail Knit Top + Karin Cuffed Short
Lama Sleeve Ruffle Tee + Hadlee Frayed Hem Short *MY FAVORITE
Miyah Fit and Flare Dress
Merra Pocket Babydoll Dress
Cora Knit Romper (her) + Lawerence Conversational Short Sleeve (him)
Kevin Jr.
As much as a two year old boy could love trying on this many outfits, he loved it (haha!) In all seriousness, his stylist nailed his style too. There were so many great pieces to choose from and a good variety of items to stock up his wardrobe. As a boy mom, this is where I LOVE Stitch Fix Kids. I could have him try on all these outfits, in the comfort of our home, at his pace, without tackling him in the dressing room. It was soooooo much easier!
Nike Graphic Tee Short Set
Joules Short Sleeve Applique Graphic Tee + Pull-On Jogger Conversational Print Short
Ben Short Sleeve Graphic Tee + Buccaneer Knit Pull On Short
Under Armour Short Sleeve Performance Tee
Andre Short Sleeve Performance Polo
Kaleb Rashguard and Board Shorts Swim Set
Both kids also received a pair of shoes in their fix, but I accidentally put the wrong size on their profile, so both were too small to show you guys. But overall, their stylist NAILED their style. Each of their boxes were extremely tailored to them and exactly what we were looking for to start off the summer months.
Stitch Fix Kids is seriously such an amazingly simple way for moms to shop for their kids. I highly recommend you try them out for your littles and stock up their closets for Summer!
