I cannot believe that 2020 is days away! I feel like 2019 has been such a blur with all of my health stuff, but looking back, I still have some great memories and I am super thankful for everything I accomplished in 2019. From moving into our new home, to hosting birthday parties, to traveling to California, to hosting our first Thanksgiving – there are so many awesome memories. I also feel in love with some great products in 2019 and I am excited to share my TOP Favorite Items of 2019! I feel like it is really easy for me to narrow down my favorites because I am constantly using these items daily and highly recommend them.
Serena & Lily
First up, home items. Like I mentioned above, a big step in 2019 was moving into our new custom home. With a new home, comes furnishing a new home and decorating it to the fullest. I quickly fell in love with Serena & Lily, because living well begins at home and they have the best quality items on the market. Their bath towels and blankets are so luxurious that they easily make this list of favorite items. I also am obsessed with my paint dipped cake stand from Serena & Lily because it is the perfect staple piece for my island. I can change out the decor on it to match the season and it just pops in my kitchen!
Emily Ley Planner
You guys know I am super Type A, so my daily planner ALWAYS makes my list of favorite items. I love the quality and designs of Emily Ley Simplified Planners. They always have such cute print options and the layout is perfect for me and our schedule. I love having a month view, but still have my days with the hour marks, a space for to-do lists, and an open area for notes. This planner has it all!
Bridgewater Candles
Let me start by saying, I am not a candle person. I have never been excited about smelling candles or burning them in my house. I don’t like overpowering scents and I am really picky about them. However, I am obsessed with Bridgewater Candles. I constantly have one burning in our house and I just love their Sweet Grace collection and their Let’s Celebrate collection. They also have gorgeous decorative candle vases that I use around our house too! Oh, and did I mention that for every candle purchased, three meals are provided to children around the world! This company is just so awesome.
Make Up Finds
I have pretty much used the same make up brands/products since I was in high school, but this year, I decided to try a couple new things and they did not disappoint. The first thing I tried was Nars blush in orgasm. I love how subtle the color is and natural looking it is – plus it feels so natural! It is light, but stays in place all day long. I also switched up my foundation and after trying a few other brands, I landed on Estee Lauder Double Wear in Ecru. I love how light it feels on my face and that it stays put all day long. Along with make up finds, I branched out and ordered some CHEAP make-up brushes on Amazon – to my surprise, I fell in love. I thought there was NO WAY they could be as good of quality as my expensive ones, but they are almost identical! They are such a great buy.
Hair Must Haves
I switched to all T3 products this year and they do not disappoint. I LOVE the T3 Cura Lux Blow Dryer and the Whirl Trio Styling Wand. They just work so well and I feel like my hair has seemed healthier since making the switch. I don’t have as many flyaways and my hair just feels better overall. Another great hair product I found this year is Teleties. I know there are so many versions of these on the market but Teleties stands out because when put in warm water, they shrink back to their original size. The company also donates generously to FORCE, a non-profit organization that improves the lives of those affected by hereditary cancers. Did I mention they are just super cute too?! Brooke LOVES them!!
I feel like this was quick, but it wraps up my favorite items of 2019 that quickly come to mind. I love all things home with Serena & Lily, organization with Emily Ley, scents with Bridgewater Candles, great make up finds and hair must haves!
