My January 2020 Stitch Fix was an amazing fix again! It was filled with items that were perfectly my style and even a few that pushed me out of my comfort zone a little bit. One of the most asked questions I get is, “How do you get such great items in your fix?” Well, seriously, my best tip for Stitch Fix is to stay with the same stylist so they can learn your style. I have been with the same stylist for so long and she just gets me. Almost every box is a “OMG I’m gonna break the bank and keep all five type of deal…” This month, I asked my stylist for more winter pieces and really left it open for her to choose!
So, for any newbies, let me break down what Stitch Fix is really quick. Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. Kendall Lace Detail Blouse
This top was hands down my favorite top I love the fun print and the flowy sleeves. It is such a great fit and works well with mom jeans or skinny jeans. I also really like that I could wear it with white jeans, black jeans or regular denim. I feel like it is really versatile and has great detail.
Andrina Two Pocket Textured Cardigan
You all know I love a great cardigan! This one is really a light weight cardigan that has a different texture than most of my cardigans. I feel like it looks really slimming on and I love the neutral color of it. The slits in the side are a great detail, as well as the pockets in the front.
Erika Skinny Distressed Jean
These Jeans have a really great distressed look, but I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of the color. I typically love dark denim or mid-light denim. I feel like these were more mid-dark and I just wasn’t super into the color. The fit was pretty good, but they were also slightly too tight. I gotta work on my summer body lol and get these to fit better!
Zariyah Split Neck Mixed Material Knit Top
This top is a really basic green top that by itself or layered. I typically would layer a shirt like this, but going into Spring, it could be worn stand along as well. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fit/cut of this top, but I feel like it was okay under a cardigan. Since we are going into Spring, I am really focusing on brighter colors though, so I will have to pass on this top.
Bartie Hacci Ribbed Sleeve Knit Top
Okay, the same for this top. I would have probably bought this top if it came in my October/November fix, but I just have a hard time buying it going into Spring. I really like the fit/cut of this top. It is very flattering, the fabric is extremely soft and I really like the color for Winter.
Overall, my February 2020 Stitch Fix box was great, I feel like I could have done a better job communicating to my stylist that I am starting to look for Spring wear because I didn’t mention that, yet I judged the fix based upon that – so that wasn’t super fair. However, it was very much my style and I really liked most of the pieces! My stylist constantly makes it hard to decide what to keep!!! DON’T FORGET, use this link to get $50 toward your first fix!!
