size of the baby: Head of Lettuce – 13.6-14.8 inches
total weight gain: just 14 pounds still. I used an actual scale at the doctors office this week!
gender: Little Miss B. Clarke
maternity clothes: I bought two new tops and an undershirt this week. Its amazing how much better I felt after a quick shopping trip. I haven’t shopped for myself in so long it felt kind of weird. I know I am going to need to go dress shopping soon too for a few events.
movement: She is super active all the time – almost to the point where if I don’t feel her for a few hours I get worried, because she is always on the go.
sleep: Sleeping has been a little better this week. I have been exhausted from our busy schedule this week and work, so I could just be sleeping better because of that but who knows. No dreams, no up for hours in the middle night. I’m just up the normal 2-3 times to go the bathroom.
nursery: We have been extremely busy every night this week, but we finally got the crib put together yesterday and I am in love. It just feels so crazy that she will be here soon and sleeping in her room. I just can’t fathom yet how much our lives are going to change, but I can’t wait to hold her and see her play in her room.
craving: double daves still, we need to find time to go. & doughnuts on the real
symptoms: I had what I think were stretching pains again this week on Tuesday night and they were no fun. They started around four in the afternoon and didn’t let up until I finally fell asleep that night. Thank goodness they were gone in the morning when I woke up.
kevin is: getting more excited that she going to be here soon. We have been trying to decide on her middle name for weeks now and both of us keep going back and forth. We have it narrowed down to two and just can’t decide which one we like best. Hopefully we decide soon and then I can announce her name!
looking forward to: game night with friends tonight, baseball banquet tomorrow night and baby showers coming soon! I can’t wait to see our family again.
best moments: We had another doctor appointment this week and I had my glucose test. Honestly, it really wasn’t that bad. The drink tasted like Kool-Aid and then I just had to wait for them to take my blood. The worst part was not eating sugar that morning, I have been craving doughnuts like crazy and all I wanted was to go to Shipley’s and get doughnut holes. After our appointment, Kevin and I went to get our whopping cough vaccinations. They were pretty painless as well and then we put her crib together! I just can’t wait to add things to her room and get it all ready.
We also pre-registered at the hospital, so now, all we need to do is go tour the hospital and a few childcare places we have been looking into for when I go back to work. We need to decide on birthing classes too and schedule them if we are going to go. My checklist is still pretty long, but I feel like we are getting things done.

You look adorable! I never thought the glucose test was that bad either, glad you survived it! 🙂 I’m so excited to hear her name!

I didn’t think the glucose test was as bad as people make it out to be either. I’m not excited to go for one in a few weeks with Baby #2, but I’m not dreading it like I was last time. Glad to hear your sleeping better!
