size of the baby: Acron Squash – 15.2-16.7 inches (seriously, they need better food comparisons)
total weight gain: Dr. scale officially says 16 pounds
gender: Girl – Little Miss Brooke Nicole Clarke!
maternity clothes: I ended up finding my second dress I needed in my closet already (#winning). I am so glad to at least have two options for baby showers and weddings coming up. Hopefully, I can still fit in them by the wedding we have at the end of March, we will see though.
movement: Little girl loves her dance parties in my stomach – specifically at 1, 3 and 5am (just saying)
sleep: I wonder if I will ever sleep through the night again. Tell me Mom’s: Will I??
nursery: I could stare at her room all day. I just love it and love seeing it all come together! Pictures coming when I actually finish it!
craving: double daves still, we need to find time to go. & doughnuts on the real (same as last week – except I actually got doughnuts yesterday morning – yummy to my tummy)
symptoms: I had the really bad cramping in my upper stomach again one night this week. It was plain awful. It was the worst they have been and they kept me (& Kevin – sorry baby) up all night long.
kevin is: feeling a little more of the fear-excitement. We went to a “You and Baby” class on Wednesday night and it as pretty comical. It was Kevin’s first experience with a diaper (ever) and he swaddled like a champ. We both will have a lot of learning to do! Poor Brooke is gonna have some weird diapers and swaddles until we get the hang of it.
looking forward to: our baby shower this weekend and then our second one next weekend! It is just such an exciting time, plus I love seeing our parents two weekends in row!
best moments: This has been a big week for us, baby class, announcing her name, and a doctors appointment. Baby Class: Some parts were kind of gross and boring, but overall it was pretty informational and good hands on practice with the creepy dolls. I am super glad that we have decided not to do birthing classes. We got a glimpse of one in the “you and baby” class and both thought that was plenty! I am also glad that we finally announced her name this week and I can call her by her full name now! Yay! Less than 11 Weeks left until we meet her!

As a mom, I have found sleeping through the night is never the same again, but it is worth it.
