Working Update: I have my three weeks of being back at work and Brooke being at daycare under my belt. I have to say, wow that was exhausting. I haven’t woken up this early in consecutive days since high school. But, we are starting to get into a little routine and I am thankful for that. I love routines. I would say that Brooke adjusted really well. She didn’t seem to be phased at all by the transition. Me however, have taken it hard a few days. Sometimes she is just so adorable in the mornings, smiling and playing, it makes it so hard to leave her. I practically count down the hours until I can pick her up some days. Overall, these past few weeks have gone really well though and I am feeling super blessed.
Sidenote: I absolutely love this dress! It is slightly more than I like to spend on a dress, so I am currently on the hunt for a similar one, but I might have to cave in or keep admiring it from afar.

First, that dress is super cute!! I need to add some more dresses to my wardrobe. Second, I’m so glad your first few weeks of work have gone so smoothly! I worked as an infant/toddler teacher for a few years and those first few weeks away from mom and dad are usually so challenging. I’m glad she’s made the transition without too many problems! 🙂

Keating BartlettI know, I really like the dress but it is a bit more expensive than I would like. And thank you, we are hoping it stays smooth!
