In honor of National Simplify Your Life Week, August 2nd – 8th, today I am writing about 5 Ways To Simplify Your Life.
1. Have A Routine
Routines are a great way to simplify your life. By having the same routine in the mornings and at night, it can help give your family a stable base for the rest of the day. For example, I wake up at the same time every morning, get ready and then wake Brooke up to eat and get her ready. After that, I take her to daycare and then go to work. At night, I give her a bath after her 6:30 feeding, then she goes to bed after her 9:30 feeding. By doing the same thing almost every day, it makes things go easier.
2. Eliminate Stress
In our busy world, it is easy to have different “events” every night of the week. Prioritize things and clean out your schedule. Eliminate things that bring unnecessary stress to your week. I know that some weeks being busy is inevitable, but I like to make sure we don’t pack too many things into our week. I have noticed that the weeks we are so busy, Brooke seems to be fussier and overly tired like us. By prioritizing, it keeps us not as tired and in a better mood.
3. Put away technology
I said it. Technology takes up so much of our time and life. Put away your phones and turn off your tv’s and enjoy a night as a family or even just dinner at the dinner table. Taking out the distractions will give you a chance to really talk and enjoy each other.
4. Use Scott Tube-Free Bath Tissue
Yep, I said it. Scott Tube-Free Bath Tissue is a simple new idea that will have a great impact on the environment, if households consciously switch to this quick and easy brand. It eliminates the toilet paper tube, thus helping diminish the 17 billion toilet paper rolls that are used annually. Scott Tube-Free works the exact same way as a regular toilet paper roll, but without the wasteful core! Every part of Scott Tube-Free is usable. Check out this Scott Man on the Street video where the product is demonstrated. You can buy Scott Tube-Free at your local Walmart like me or use this Local Retailer Locator to see where to find them. Also, make sure to use this Scott Coupon.
5. Declutter and Clean
Take the time to go through your closets and clean out your old things, donate them if possible or throw away. You don’t need that dress from 10 years ago or that set of golf clubs your husband never uses. Even have a garage sale if you would like with all your old things. Declutter, and then give your house a good clean!

Ah! This the best thing ever! I hate taking empty rolls off.
