I’m sharing #JOHNSONS in my life as part of a JOHNSON’S® sponsored series for Socialstars™
I was extremely excited going into Friday that I was staring at a three day weekend and short week ahead. I am working on Sundays right now, so I guess technically it wasn’t really a three day weekend, but I will take it. Our weekend was jam packed with lots of fun and checking things off of our to do list. We have a busy schedule starting up again and going into the holidays, so I am soaking up time off any chance I can get.
On Friday night, we headed to our cousins house for some family time. We spent the evening catching up, playing with a hoverboard, watching Brooke play with the puppy and kitty, and splashing in the pool. The weather started to get slightly cooler as we were outside, and it was so nice to start feeling a little fall weather. As Brooke got out of the pool, I immediately knew that cooler weather meant we were using JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE™ Extra Moisturizing Baby Wash and Extra Moisturizing Cream. Her sensitive skin, always gets worse with cooler temps, so I like to be proactive and keep her extra moisturized.
As fall weather arrives here in Texas, it is also the perfect time to sneak in extra cuddle time and that’s exactly what I did Saturday morning. Kevin had to work, so Brooke and I made cinnamon muffins and then snuggled up on the couch and watched Rio. While she took an afternoon nap, I worked on blog stuff and things around the house. I’ll admit, some days working at home is challenging with a little toddler running around, but Saturday was really great. And, it was awesome to see Brooke’s face light up when Dada got home. It is such a fun time when he gets home from work. We ended our night out to dinner with good friends, celebrating their engagement.
Sunday morning brought more snuggles and the smell of cinnamon rolls in our oven. I love sleeping in a little with my hubby on Sunday mornings then getting ready for church as a family. It is such a sweet, sweet time for the three of us. After church, we relaxed a little bit and then I headed back to work for the afternoon. Our evening was spent relaxing and catching up on some television shows. Brooke also got an extra long bath time because she was having a blast in the water. Her extra moisturizing body wash is essential for bath time for sensitive skin. For years, hospitals around the world have trusted JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE™ Baby Wash for baby’s first bath. Now, JOHNSON’S® is introducing the complementary Baby Wash and Cream, which is perfectly pH-balanced and infused with vitamin E and baby oil for baby’s tender skin.
Now, its Monday, and while Kevin has to work, Brooke and I spending the day checking things off our to do list and tonight, we are hanging out with friends! Overall, it was a great weekend and I can’t wait for Kevin’s parents to be here next weekend.
Sidetone: We thoroughly trust JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing baby cream. It is specially-formulated to keep your baby’s skin soft and healthy from morning ‘til night. What a fun weekend! It’s great that you got to spend time with friends and family. My son has sensitive skin too, so this Johnson’s product sounds like something he would’ve benefited from using when he was little.
