I’m sharing #JOHNSONS in my life as part of a JOHNSON’S® sponsored series for Socialstars™
I have been watching as friends across the country have posting about the “first snow” and other cold fronts making their way to their house. Finally, after a very long span of warm days, we had our first “cool” morning this past weekend. Luckily, I had already stocked up on most of our must have winter baby products, however, I did have to run to the store to grab a few. Here are a few of our Must Have Winter Baby Products that I highly recommend:
Warm PJs
Luckily, we already had these and I knew it was going to get cold overnight, so we dressed Brooke in warm PJs and made sure she was cozy in her crib.
Socks & Tights
This is one area we slightly failed in the first night. We forgot to put socks on Brooke, so when she woke up, her feet were freezing. I immediately grabbed some socks and put them on her. Lesson learned, don’t forget the socks! Also, I had to go out and get some tights for her Sunday dress. Last year, I had a pair of white, black and red ones that worked all season long.
JOHNSON’S® baby soothing vapor bath
I heard about this product from a mom friend. You can use it when your baby has a stuffy nose for comfort. It’s enriched with rosemary, eucalyptus and menthol, ingredients known for their aromatherapy benefits. Simply use it in a warm bath and the NO MORE TEARS® formula gently comforts and soothes babies.
NEW JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE™ extra moisturizing baby cream
I have talked about this cream in previous posts and can’t say enough good things about it! It moisturizes baby’s dry, sensitive skin and is gentle enough for newborns. Brooke has very sensitive skin and eczema, I can say that I have seen a BIG difference in her skin since using this every night. She hasn’t had near as many flare ups and I can tell her skin is feeling smoother. It is hypoallergenic and pediatrician and dermatologist-tested. I cannot recommend this product enough.
Cozy Blanket
We have several big, cozy blankets for Brooke to use in winter. I normally keep one in her crib, one downstairs, and one in the car for her. She loves to cuddle up with them and keeps them close to her face. These are a must for winter in our house.
Jackets
This has been big for us. Kevin and I both don’t tend to wear jackets that often. I normally wear a cardigan and since I don’t go outside too much during the day, I don’t notice not having a normal jacket. But, with Brooke, we know she needs one for when she goes outside to play and for errands around town. This year, we are already stocked up with jackets for her and I can’t wait to see how cute she looks in them!
Ever since I found these in the store, we have kept them with us in our diaper bag. Johnson’s Hand & Face Wipes were designed to gently and effectively remove dirt and germs from baby’s hands and face anywhere, anytime. These are great to have in winter to keep away germs! Also, they are made with the No More Tears Formula, basically, these wipes are as gentle to baby’s eyes as pure water.
DESITIN® multi purpose ointment
DESTIN is in our house 24-7, 365. We use it in every season because it works wonders. It forms a protective layer on skin to immediately, soothe and start to relieve minor skin irritations, such as dry, chapped skin and minor cuts and burns, and rash discomfort. This hypoallergenic formula glides on easily, goes on clear, and is gentle on baby’s tender skin. This clear, easy to apply formula makes it perfect for using at every diaper change to help prevent diaper rash from even occurring.
