Today marks the day that Kevin and I have been “officially” together for 8 years. Some days, it seems like yesterday we were sitting in computer class and others it seems like sweet memories. On days like today, I can’t help but think about our past and how many amazing moments we have together. I love our story, how our lives came together, and all the crazy moments in between.

when I moved to San Antonio and the whole world seemed to make sense
when we jumped into the freezing cold pool at Todd’s house
when I saw your passion for the Lord
after we went six weeks without seeing each other and I couldn’t stand another day without you
when you rushed to the airport to see me but didn’t make it in time
when we talked outside my parents house on your tailgate that one night
when you bought me flowers..haha
every time you wore that old baseball area code tryout shirt
when we would lay in bed and watch the news and I didn’t even care
when you drove home for all my school dances (that couldn’t have been “cool”)
that time you surprised me and picked me up from school after my speech competition
when we told our parents we were getting engaged
when we told your sisters we were getting engaged and Jenn erupted in “happy” tears
when you help me clean the house
every time you smile at me
when you asked me to marry you
when we would kiss outside my parents house (sorry mom)
when I watched you pitch (or really just doing something you love)
when I would get to your games early just to see you smile and have you wave at me
when you knew just how to “de-stress” me
that time I ran into the bathroom door
when you called me out after the pool that one day
every time we 1-2-3 kiss
when we would have “kitchen” convo’s at 8106 with Kristi and Blanca
on our disney world and cabo trip
the other night on our floor talking
These are just the beginning of all the moments I knew I loved you. They seriously don’t even do justice to how I feel. Every day when I wake up, I think I love you even more and the list is constantly growing.
