October Stitch Fix Review

Stitch Fix October 2014Its that time again or my October Stitch Fix review! Most of you are probably familiar with Stitch Fix. If you aren’t, I will let you in on an awesome company. Basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. You start by going to the Stitch Fix website, filling out a style profile and then deciding on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you would like to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

Here we go, check out what was in my third box and let me know what you think I should keep:

Shara Houndstooth Printed VestShara Houndstooth Printed Vest

I love, love, love this vest! I have always wanted to try out a vest, however, I have been nervous it would feel bulky but this one is light weight and not too bulky at all. There are so many ways I can wear this vest since its black and white. I plan on wearing it with my plaid shirts or with a plain black shirt most of the time.

Guiliano Plaid & Fringe Cotton CardiganGuiliano Plaid & Fringe Cotton Cardigan

I am on the fence about this piece. I love how “fall” the print is and I am loving plaid right now, so I am pretty drawn to it. However, the piece doesn’t seem quite finished on the edges. It is very light weight which would be great for Texas though. I’m just not sure what to do about this one.

Margerie Stripe & Dot Open CardiganMargerie Stripe & Dot Open Cardigan

This cardigan is striped on the outside and doted on the inside. I really don’t like this piece. It is too short in the back for me and it bunches in the back. I really like my cardigans long so I can wear them with leggings too.

Alva Cowl Neck TopAlva Cowl Neck Top

I like the color of this top, however the fit wasn’t good at all. It was way to big all around but especially in the sleeves. It could work with leggings if the sleeves weren’t so long.

Oliver Faux Leather Trim Striped TopOliver Faux Leather Trip Striped Top

I like the way this top looks on the hanger. I love the stripes and neutral colors, however when I put it on, I really didn’t like the fit or style. I can’t really put my finger on it, but it just didn’t feel like me. I felt pretty frumpy in it. Negative on this one for sure.

Overall, I really loved my third experience with Stitch Fix because of the vest. If you are interested, click this link to the Stitch Fix website and sign up for an account!

The vest is my favorite because I love houndstooth…but I like the last top too, would be cute with comfy leggings.

I LOVE the vest and the plaid and fringe cardigan – I think you should definitely keep it! The last shirt I think is great but of course if you don’t love it don’t keep it!

I agree with all your picks. The vest is definitely my favorite. I love houndstooth; it’s such a classic print that looks great with almost anything!

I love the vest, I think you look really great in the plaid cardigan, I think the faux leather striped top looks great and I think the other two pieces don’t work for you at all. I just got a stitch fix and sent back all but one – much to my daughter’s dismay!
