As a blogger, I am on my phone or laptop almost constantly throughout the day. These are a few of the apps that make my life a lot easier, thus my “Top Apps for Bloggers”.
Logistics
Afterlight
Afterlight is by far my favorite photo editing app. I run every photo through afterlight before I post it to social media. I use to use Snapseed and really liked it a lot but Afterlight trumps it by far. Totally worth the purchase.
Whitagram
This is a really simple app for making a portrait photo a square for Instagram. I have used several different apps, but love how simple and quick Whitagram is for editing. It is literally only two clicks (one to choose your photo and one to export to Instagram).
Hootsuite
I don’t always schedule my social media posts, in fact, I rarely do anymore, but when I do use a scheduler, I use Hootsuite. I love that I can post to Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus at the same time.
Drive
I use google drive a lot for my blog design business and when I set up giveaways. I also find myself needing it a lot when I receive emails from other bloggers about giveaway sign ups or collaborations.
Sheets
Bottom line, you have to have Sheets, Docs, etc to actually edit something in your Google Drive. Thus, it is necessary for me.
Notes
I know a lot of bloggers use Evernote, however, I just use my notes section. I have a place for different post ideas, collaboration ideas, and “to dos”. I tend to always have my phone with me, so it makes it really simple to jot down an idea I have.
Social
Bloglovin
I love reading blogs through Bloglovin, however, Feedly has a lot of hype lately, so I have been thinking about checking out their reader and seeing how I like it as well.
Instagram, Facebook Pages, Pinterst, Twitter
These are all pretty self explanatory. I use them constantly throughout the day to promote my posts, others posts and just keep up with friends/family/shops/other bloggers.
