May 2015 Stitch Fix Review

Yay! After 9 months of waiting, now that I am no longer pregnant, I am back on the Stitch Fix train for my May 2015 Stitch Fix Review. Most of you are probably familiar with Stitch Fix. If you aren’t, I will let you in on an awesome company. Basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. You start by going to the Stitch Fix website, filling out a style profile and then deciding on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you would like to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

Gerald Mixed Material Knit Tank

I loved this top from the moment I pulled it out of the box, because it is so unique. Part of what I love about Stitch Fix is getting unique pieces that I can’t just find at a normal store. Plus, this top was super flattering and I love how it flows. (& I must mention, those are my normal jeans, 5 weeks postpartum fully zipped & buttoned – insert happy dance here – I still have weight to lose to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I am super glad my pants button again) Needless to say, this shirt was a keeper.

Parsons Lace Back Tank

I actually really liked the way this top fit. It was super soft and comfy. It had a nice lace design on the back. The only “issue” with the tank was that I felt like it was too normal. Like I mentioned above, I like unique pieces and I felt like I could get something similar at Target for way less. Although, I did debate keeping it for the night, ultimately, I returned it though.

Baker Split Neck Blouse

I love the print of this top and the colors are girly but not too pink. This top was “so-so”. I honestly loved the print more than the fit. It really didn’t do that much for figure, in fact, I felt like it made me look a bit boxy. It wasn’t terrible though. I thought about keeping it for a few minutes but decided to return it as well.

Neve Bermuda Short

I’m sure my stylist meant well by including these white jean bermuda shorts, but I am not a bermuda short kinda girl. Plus, my jeans are barely fitting and these were super small. No way they were buttoning.

Ashur Dress

Hated this dress. The print wasn’t too bad but the fit was horrible. It was clingy and gross looking. Big No.

Overall, I really liked my forth experience with Stitch Fix because of the top I got, however, I would have liked to see a cuter dress option for summer. I was pretty disappointed I got sent shorts (I asked for tops and dresses only) and only one dress, but it worked out.
