Brooke’s First Christmas

I just wanted to share a few pictures from Brooke’s First Christmas. Technically, her First Christmas isn’t over yet, because we are doing Christmas with my parents this week. This year was the first year we split up the holiday and it was for sure different. We are use to spending half of the time with my family and half of the time with Kevin’s family, but it just didn’t quite work that way this year. We had a great holiday though. On Christmas Eve, we hung out with Kevin’s sister and her family (including new baby Tyler), then all of us went to see Star Wars while Kevin’s parents watched the babies. All of us meaning, me, Kevin, Kevin’s sisters, my brother in law and our niece, Cassidy. We loved Star Wars and we loved getting the two adorable pictures above of both the little babes. Brooke looks like she could eat Tyler. I can’t wait to see how they interact next year at Christmas.

On Christmas morning, we woke up and opened stockings from Santa and then presents from each other. It was so fun watching Brooke be so excited. She reacted a lot more than we thought she would. We really didn’t expect her to get into presents or really know what was going on, but she had a blast! She loved all of her toys and wanted to eat the bows on her packages. After presents, we went over to Kevin’s grandmothers for Christmas Brunch. It was super yummy! I love Christmas breakfast. After Breakfast, we got ready and then went to Kevin’s Aunt and Uncle’s house for Christmas dinner and to hang out with family. It was so nice seeing everyone and celebrating Jesus’ Birthday! I’m sure more pictures will be coming of our 2nd Christmas with my parents!
