February 2016 Stitch Fix

Wow, it has been awhile! My October Stitch Fix was so awesome that I ended up keeping ALL 5 items for the first time! But, going into the Holiday season, I realized I was really set on winter clothes, so I decided to put my stitch fix box on hold until it got closer to spring. I had plans to resume my stitch fix boxes in March, but I just couldn’t wait! I love Stitch Fix so much.

Most of you are probably familiar with Stitch Fix If you aren’t, I will let you in on an awesome company. Basically, Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. You start by going to the Stitch Fix website, filling out a style profile and then deciding on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you would like to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

Here we go, check out what was in my 12th box and let me know what you think I should keep.

IMG_3070Lacey Crochet Panel Knit Top

Obsessed with this top! When I first pulled it out of the box, I wasn’t super crazy about the way the top of the shirt looked. However, once I tried it on, I was in love. It fit perfectly and will pair nicely with a pair of light jeans or white jeans for Spring. I am really loving pastels right now, so this was right up my alley.

I think I really would have liked this top for December. The color screams Christmas to me and something I would have worn to a Christmas party. But, I don’t really think it will work for Spring, plus it is way too hot in Texas to wear long sleeves right now! The top is super cute, just not practical for the season right now.

We have several weddings coming up in the next three months, so I requested a dress option. I loved the print as I opened up my box, but I wasn’t as crazy about the style. While it is a very romantic style and perfect for a wedding, the fit isn’t super flattering for my body type. I know a few friends of mine who would look amazing in this dress, it just wasn’t for me.

This top is not me at all. I think the floral print is really “old” looking and the colors say Fall to me, not Spring. Plus, the style of the shirt isn’t one I would wear either. Overall, this was my least favorite item in the shipment.

The color of this top is great and the lace detail on the sleeve looks really great. When I opened my box, I thought this top was for sure a winner. It is a little short for my style, but I still really like it. I am going back and forth on if I should keep this one or not.

As always, I am happy with my box. It wasn’t my favorite to date, but I still found a unique item that I wouldn’t have found in a normal boutique. I really enjoy Stitch Fix and highly recommend it! To sign up, just click this link to Stitch Fix, fill out a profile and schedule what date you would like your box to arrive. It is that simple!

I really like the first and last shirt. I think the last one would look cute to wear for Easter.

I love love love the pink, green and purple tops, they’re SO good! I haven’t done Stitch Fix since I got pregnant with Sully, might be time to give it another go. Have a great weekend!
