24 Week Bumpdate

size of the baby: cantaloupe – about 11.8 inches

total weight gain: about 15 pounds

gender: BOY! BOY! BOY! Kevin Charles Clarke, Jr. or KC or Little Man or Kev Kev

clothes: I’m wearing maternity jeans or leggings, a tee or a maternity tank and a cardigan… a lot. I feel like I’m gaining a little more weight this time around for sure. My belly popped about 2-3 weeks sooner.

movement: He is very active!

sleep: I have been sleeping pretty good. It is taking me a little longer to get comfortable to fall asleep, but once I’m asleep, I have been sleeping good.

missing: not too much this week.

craving: not really anything.

symptoms: Sciatica pain and pain/soreness under my belly. Also, injection site pain from the shots knotting up. Only 9 more to go though! I know it will all be worth it!

kevin is: getting excited for Christmas time and all the family time. We had our Hospital tour this week because we are delivering at a different hospital this time and it went well. I think we both got slightly anxious for the reality that this little guy might be coming early or even earlier than Brooke. I know we are doing everything we can to prepare, it just got a little more real being back in the hospital environment and talking through NICU stuff.

looking forward to: Seeing our family for a birthday celebration next weekend!

best moments: Celebrating Kev’s birthday with friends Saturday night and our doctoor appointment Monday and hospital tour Monday night! Brooke’s favorite part of the Hospital tour was getting to have Chick-fi-la for dinner. She was in such a great mood!
