The holidays are here! We are hosting Thanksgiving this year, and we will have lots of different hosting events throughout December for the holidays, so I thought it would be fun to share a delicious meat lovers’ breakfast casserole with you all that features Wright® Brand Bacon Hickory Smoked Bacon, Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage Roll, and Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Patties. When we have guests overnight, I love making breakfast casseroles because they can easily be prepped the night before and put in the oven in the morning for a stress-free morning. My kids even like to help me prep everything the night before, so it’s a fun family meal and it’s delicious!
First thing’s first, I grabbed all of our ingredients from H-E-B using their curb-side pickup. I love using H-E-B curb-side pick up because it is so quick and easy. I can look at my recipes, add things to my cart, and know I’m not forgetting anything. Plus, I don’t have to get the kids out of the car to go inside. For the meat lovers’ breakfast casserole, you will need:
Wright Brand® Bacon Hickory Smoked Bacon
Jimmy Dean® Premium Pork Sausage Roll – Regular
Jimmy Dean® Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Patties
6-12 Eggs depending on the size of your pan
1 Can of Diced Tomatoes with Green Chili
Cook Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage Roll (which has a delicious signature seasoning) in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain well.
Cook Wright Brand Hickory Smoked Bacon on medium heat until it reaches desired crispiness, then set aside. I love using Wright Brand because they are hand-trimmed and thick-sliced, which creates a nice crispy bacon every time.
Prepare hash browns according to package directions, using 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.
Line the bottom of your baking dish with Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Patties.
Layer hash browns, sausage, and cheese into your baking dish.
Whisk together eggs, milk, and a dash of salt. Pour evenly over layered mixture.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Top your casserole with a layer of diced tomatoes and cheese.
Place back in oven for 10 minutes.
After that, you are ready to serve your delicious meat lovers’ breakfast casserole! It is a crowd favorite and our go-to this season.
