January 2020 Stitch Fix Review

My second December 2019 Stitch Fix was an amazing fix again! It was filled with items that were perfectly my style and even a few that pushed me out of my comfort zone a little bit. One of the most asked questions I get is, “How do you get such great items in your fix?” Well, seriously, my best tip for Stitch Fix is to stay with the same stylist so they can learn your style. I have been with the same stylist for so long and she just gets me. Almost every box is a “OMG I’m gonna break the bank and keep all five type of deal…” This month, I asked my stylist for more winter pieces and really left it open for her to choose!

So, for any newbies, let me break down what Stitch Fix is really quick. Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. To sign up, you go to the Stitch Fix website, fill out a style profile and then decide on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing, shoes, or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you are going to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope. It is super easy and a fun way to shop!

If you sign up for your first fix (new customer) using any of the links in this post, then you will get your FIRST STITCH FIX STYLING FEE WAIVED + an extra $30 to spend on your fix!! That is a $50 credit for you & yes then that will apply toward anything you keep from your order!!! So go ahead, try Stitch Fix RISK FREE and get YOUR $50 credit!

Here we go, check out what was in my 46th box and let me know what you think I should keep!

Mixed Media Sherpa Knit Top – Vineyard Vines

Oh, this sherpa is even better in person! I love the look of Vineyard Vines, and this pullover screams sleek and preppy. My only hesitation is how much I rarely wear pullovers like this. I have a ton of sweatshirts that I wear around the house that are big and cozy – then I have full zip jackets. The one pullover I have like this is pretty straight and stiff feeling so I hardly wear it because I don’t feel comfortable. However, this Sherpa is so stinking cute it will be hard to pass on!

Kasia Color Blocked Curved Hem Pullover

Okay, you guys know I love stripes and sweaters. I love the curved hem of this pullover. I think curved hems are just so flattering and this one doesn’t disappoint. I love the color block and all the details of this top. It is a big time keeper.

Maya Performance Hoodie

So, this hoodie isn’t my typical style, however, I love the fabric. It is so incredible soft and cozy. It would be great paired with leggings or athletic shorts. I am typically in athletic clothes or very casual clothes so this would actually be a great piece to add that is slightly out of my comfort zone.

Rowca Cotton Blend Crew Neck Pullover

Again with the great pullovers! I love the olive color of this pullover and the detail. It is just a really flattering shape and I love how they look with jeans. This one would be great with black jeans too! I really like how basic this is, but still unique with the details.

Granita Knit Dress

So, I am obsessed with stripe knit dresses, but for some reason, this one just didn’t fit well. I typically only wear dresses in summer so I think that is why I am having trouble falling in love with this one. I really want to like it, but I just highly doubt I will wear it much.

Overall, my January 2020 Stitch Fix box was AMAZING!!! It was very much my style and I really liked most of the pieces! My stylist is making it hard to decide what to keep!!! DON’T FORGET, use this link to get $50 toward your first fix!!

  • #TysonBrandPartner Back-to-school always means busy evenings, so I’m all about keeping easy dinner ideas on hand! ❤️

I picked up Tyson® Restaurant-Style Uncooked Crispy Nuggets during my Walmart trip and turned them into this simple Chicken Parmesan Bake.

They’re crispy breaded chicken nuggets with restaurant-style flavor, they’re easy to prepare in the oven or air fryer, and each serving has 14g of protein.

We love serving them over pasta or on sandwich buns for a dinner that’s easy to put together on hectic weeknights.

Be sure to grab @tysonbrand Restaurant-Style Uncooked Crispy Nuggets the next time you’re shopping at Walmart!

  • #DoorDashPartner #DASHSUMMER26 I’m trying to soak up every last bit of summer, but apparently back-to-school is happening in FIVE days. 😳

Instead of adding another store run to the list, I grabbed the back-to-school essentials we needed through DoorDash and had them delivered right to my door. Snacks, school supplies, one less errand… I’ll take it! 🙌🏻

Use the link in my bio + code MCLDASHNOW53 to get 30% off ANY qualifying Grocery & Retail order of $40+, up to $20 off. Not valid on pickup or alcohol orders. Terms Apply.

  • #ad Back-to-school gets busy fast, so one thing that helps our family stay prepared is spending a little time each week on lunch and snack prep. 🙌

I always grab the Cheese Heads® Variety Pack at Walmart because it’s something everyone in our family enjoys. I add @frigocheeseheads to lunchboxes and use it as the base for my own grab-and-go snack boxes with pepperoni, nuts and crackers for those extra busy days.

It’s a good source of calcium and protein, plus they’re fun, portable cheese snacks that fuel us with flavor and convenience whether we’re headed to school, work, home or on-the-go.

Have you started back-to-school prep yet?

  • #sponsored Turning a simple pack of ramen soup into an “affordable but elevated” meal is one of my favorite kitchen hacks.🍜🔥

Today I was craving something with a little kick, so I grabbed the StarKist® Tuna Creations® BOLD Jalapeño Pouch to remix my Maruchan ramen bowl. It adds 14g of lean protein, it’s already fully cooked and seasoned, and there’s no draining or extra prep. Just add, mix, and enjoy.

I also love that StarKist® Tuna Pouches come in 20+ delicious flavors, so you can customize your ramen soup however you’re feeling, from flavorful and bold to light and savory.

This is such an easy, satisfying meal for busy days and I got everything from Walmart. Which StarKist flavor would you try first?
