May 2020 Stitch Fix Review

My May 2020 Stitch Fix was a great fix again! It was filled with items that were perfectly my style and slightly out of my comfort zone, but great to push my style a little bit. One of the most asked questions I get is, “How do you get such great items in your fix?”

Well, seriously, my best tip for Stitch Fix is to stay with the same stylist so they can learn your style. I have been with the same stylist for so long and she just gets me. Almost every box is a “OMG I’m gonna break the bank and keep all five type of deal…” This month, I asked my stylist for more Spring pieces and really left it open for her to choose!

So, for any newbies, let me break down what Stitch Fix is really quick. Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. To sign up, you go to the Stitch Fix website, fill out a style profile and then decide on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.

Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing, shoes, or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you are going to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope. It is super easy and a fun way to shop!

If you sign up for your first fix (new customer) using any of the links in this post, then you will get a $25 credit to use on your first fix! So go ahead, try Stitch Fix RISK FREE and get YOUR $25 credit!

Here we go, check out what was in my 51st box and let me know what you think I should keep!

Hailey Denim Ex-Boyfriend Cuffed Short

I have been on the hunt for new shorts this year, so I was really excited to see these in my fix. I love that they have full coverage and they fit really well. They were a premium brand, so know the quality is amazing. Overall these were a win. I really like the light destroyed look this year and these were great.

Valentina Crossback Romper

I have a love-hate relationship with rompers. I really like the ease of a romper and I feel like if you get the right romper, it can be really flattering. But, I hate going to the bathroom wearing one. It is just really inconvenient. Overall, I really liked this option for Summer, but it was a premium brand as well and I didn’t like the price tag.

I don’t mind spending more on shorts or jeans, that I wear a lot and are versatile. But, I rarely spend a lot on items like this – I have to REALLY love them.

Lottie Knit Crop Jumpsuit

So, one of the things I love about Stitch Fix is that it pushes me out of my comfort zone. And, jumpsuits are totally out of my comfort zone. I have no idea why, but I just always feel awkward in them and that I look weird. This one wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t really my style.

Archie Embroidered Kimono

Again, I love being pushed out of my comfort zone, but I was not the fence about this Kimono. I think its the Texas weather that has me rarely wear them. It is either really hot or cold and there isn’t really too many times its “in-between”. Overall, I really liked the print though and the embroidery was really good!

Juniper Studded Leather Heeled Slide Sandal

I really really really wanted to love these sandals. They were incredibly comfortable and I liked the studded top, but the small heel just kept throwing me off. In all honesty, every time I saw them on, I felt like they looked like my mom (my mom has a lot of “low heel” shoes). I just either wear flats or high heels. I’m not really a low heel girl. I wish these were exactly the same, just in a flat sandal.

Extra! Seeing Stars Short Sleeve Pajama Set

I’ve been adding “extras” to my fixes a lot lately so I decided to try out these pajamas. They are so fun! I love the print and style of them so much. They also have a great fit and are really cozy. I highly suggest them!

Overall, my May 2020 Stitch Fix box was great, but not completely my style. Like I mentioned, I like being challenged sometimes so I didn’t really mind, but this fix was a little off from my normal style. Typically, my stylist makes it really hard to decide what to keep!!! DON’T FORGET, use this link to get $25 toward your first fix!!
