August 2020 Stitch Fix Review

My August 2020 Stitch Fix is great! It was filled with items that were perfectly my style and great for the warm summer months. One of the most asked questions I get is, “How do you get such great items in your fix?” Well, seriously, my best tip for Stitch Fix is to stay with the same stylist so they can learn your style. I have been with the same stylist for so long and she just gets me. Almost every box is a “OMG I’m gonna break the bank and keep all five type of deal…” This month, I asked my stylist for more Summer pieces and really left it open for her to choose!

So, for any newbies, let me break down what Stitch Fix is really quick. Stitch Fix delivers a personalized shopping experience right to your front door. To sign up, you go to the Stitch Fix website, fill out a style profile and then decide on a delivery date. You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing, shoes, or accessories (you can specify what you are wanting and the price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try everything on in the comfort of your home, decide what you are going to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope. It is super easy and a fun way to shop!

If you sign up for your first fix (new customer) using any of the links in this post, then you will get a $25 credit to use on your first fix! So go ahead, try Stitch Fix RISK FREE and get YOUR $25 credit!

Here we go, check out what was in my 52nd box and let me know what you think I should keep!

Liz Tie Waist Romper

In full disclosure, I have this romper already in another print from two years ago and I love it so much. It is such a flattering fit and great material. The print I currently have is a summer, fun print, so I was really excited that this print was a little more “fall”. However, I’ll admit that the price tag on this item is a lot higher than I normally spend. I completely think the quality is amazing and it is worth every penny. But, I am having trouble rationalizing having two rompers at this price point when I wear it a few times a year. I love it so much, but I’m just not sure if I will wear it enough to keep it.

Dena Scallop Faux Wrap Blouse

This top is super cute! I love how unique it is and the scallop detail is just the right touch. I threw on a pair of shorts for pictures, however, after looking at the pictures, I feel like it would pair the best with white denim. I really like this top how unique it is. Plus, I am a big fan of “wrap” blouses and dresses right now, so I love it so much.

Splendid Pjs

I immediately took the price tag off of these and started wearing them. I have been looking for a great pair of pjs and these won the day. These were hands down my favorite item from my fix. Maybe its the quarantine, maybe its how soft they are.. but I love them so much. I love the color, I love the fabric, I love the fit… these are a big time win.

Jarred Lace Detail Cap-Sleeve

I love a great basic top and this cap-sleeve lace detail top is such a great buy. It has a fabulous price point and the best detail. I love how you can easily wear this in every season. You can pair it with shorts or add a cardigan for winter months. It is a great basic.

Elaria Keyhole Knit Top

The fabric on this top was really soft and cozy, however, I wasn’t a fan of the print or style. The keyhole wasn’t my favorite and the stripes just seemed odd to me. This top was a big no. It just isn’t really my style.

Johnny Short

When I pulled these shorts out of the box, my first thought was that they looked like mom shorts and I already have a few pair of olive shorts. However, when I tried them on, I was in love. They are incredibly soft, lightweight and flattering. These are such a great brand and I highly recommend them.

Overall, my August 2020 Stitch Fix box was great and perfectly my style. I loved a few items and found a pair of pjs I am obsessed with. Typically, my stylist makes it really hard to decide what to keep!!! Overall, I loved the balance of items and I can’t wait to schedule my next fix DON’T FORGET, use this link to get $25 toward your first fix!!
