What’s in my make up bag? Well, not too many things. I am a fan of simplicity and, especially with a toddler, I like to be able to get ready fast. I have mainly these basics in my bag and I don’t tend to shy too far away from them. Occasionally you might find another mascara that I am trying or an eyeshadow, but for the most part, just these basics.
Also, my routine is pretty simple. I apply the MAC foundation first all over my face with the Sigma face brush. Then, I use the same brush and apply the concealer under and around my eyes. Next, if it is summer and I have a tan working for me, I apply bronzing power. However, right now, I am pasty white from being pregnant, so I have no need for a little darker look. After my base is set, I move to my eyes and apply eye shadow. I always start with Clinique Daybreak for my eyes, and if I am “dressing up” I will use the Naked Palette for a more dramatic look. Then, I apply eyeliner with the little brush it comes with; I love the clean look of the cream liner. Then comes mascara and that is where I am little different. I use all three mascaras listed. First, I apply the lash doubling mascara, then the BADgal lash and finally the High Impact mascara. I have no idea how I started doing this, but I feel like it gives my lashes a great full look with lots of length. Lastly, I apply my blush and a little bit of light eye shadow under my eye to set my liner.
Thats it! The whole process only takes about 10 minutes so its really quick and easy.
