35 Week Bumpdate

35 Week Bumpdate

size of the baby: Pineapple– about 18.5+ inches, and probably close to 6 pounds!

total weight gain: about 22 pounds now.

gender: Little Man

clothes: Leggings and comfy shorts all the way! I think I only have 4 tops that fit now… yikes!

movement: He is on the move constantly. It is rare that I go even 30 minutes without feeling him.

sleep: I have been sleeping HORRIBLE! I have been waking up at all hours of the night with contractions and cramping that keep me up for hours. I keep thinking “this is it, it might be go time”.. then nope, they will fade out after a few hours.

missing: normal life of running errands, chasing Brooke around and not being so pregnant. But, thankfully I can start doing a little more again now.

craving: I was craving Taco Bell this week and thankfully had some for lunch – it was delicious! Now I’m on to pancakes, donuts, and biscuits.

symptoms/update: Since we are officially past 35 weeks, I don’t have to do any more shots and I can get back to little bit of normalcy. I still have to take it easy until at least 36 weeks, but I can do a little more than I am doing now. I am having contractions all the time basically and he can come whenever wants now! The doctor said I can pretty much deliver whenever, that it is up to him now.

kevin is: excited that we are past 35 weeks and that our little guy is getting ready to come out. I think we both are just really excited to meet him now.

looking forward to: going into actual labor! I am really tired of constant contractions and pressure so, little guy, come on now…

best moments: it has been a pretty uneventful week again. I did get to have a date night out with Kevin and that was much needed. He got friends to watch Brooke and we went to dinner. I think we were only out like 1 – 1 1/2 hours but it was so great!
