Oh, how our life has changed. I can’t believe that we are entering into the toddler stage already. It seems like yesterday that Brooke was just a tiny little preemie, now she is a crazy, fun-loving toddler with lots of sass. These fun pictures are from two weekends ago when Kevin’s sister was in town. She came in to help us with Brooke since I was still on “modified” bed rest. We took the kids to the playground (don’t worry I sat on the bench/in a swing and barely walked) and they had such a great time. I loved seeing our kids make fun memories. I know they most likely won’t remember all the fun of the weekend, but at least we have pictures from this outing!
Brooke, Tyler (our nephew) and Cassidy (our niece), played and played. At home, they played in Brooke’s kitchen and chased each other around the house. At the park, they LOVED swinging in the swings and exploring around. It was so sweet to see how adventurous they were and neither of them wanted to get out of the swing. They were everywhere!
While Brooke has changed and grown a lot over the last two years, there is one thing that has traveled with us, Freshly Picked moccasins. From crib to walker, we have loved our freshly picked moccasins. They were the perfect little accessory for her as a new baby, and now, they come along for the best adventures as a walker.
I love them as a mom, because they are quick and easy to put on her feet. They are also very easy to clean which makes my job a lot easier. Now, Brooke, she just flat out loves them. The other morning, she walked into our room holding them and insisted on wearing them. I tried to have her wear different shoes that matched her outfit and she wouldn’t have it! I think she loves how comfortable they are and freeing for her little toes. Plus, they are super cute and I like to think she just has good style! I mean, how cute are they?!
