Oh, the joys of motherhood. As you scroll through your Instagram feed, you mostly see perfect pictures. Moms have full make up on, their hair is curled, they are wearing stylish outfits, and their kids are even dressed in matching outfits. Don’t get me wrong, I am huge fan of pretty Instagram feeds, however, I am also a fan of raw honest motherhood. Sometimes, that means you never leave your pajamas or you use dry shampoo for three days in a row. Your life is just different. It took you 10 minutes to run in a store, now with kids, you are lucky if it takes only an hour (not to mention the two hours it took you to leave the house). And, if you dare tackle a mall trip, be ready for an all day affair filled with snacks, blowouts, cry sessions, and chaos. But, thankfully, we live in 2018 and there is a better way to shop for stylish clothes, Stitch Fix.

This month, I let my stylist know I would like to see a pair of premium denim, sweaters, cardigans and a fun pair of booties. And, let me tell you, she NAILED IT! She followed my note exactly, looked at my Pinterest boards to see my style, and sent me the most adorable pieces. Look at what I received below:
Ollie Cotton Blend Textured Cardigan
I love a good cardigan and this piece is so soft. The material is unique and it pairs great with jeans, my pajamas or even dressed up with slacks! I love a piece that is so versatile like this and, as a mom, it makes my wardrobe so much easier. I’m constantly on the go with them, so I need practical clothes in my closet that I can dress up and down quickly.
Josey Textured Pullover
While the first cardigan was probably my husbands favorite, this pullover was my favorite top of the fix. The color is really different from anything in my closet and the texture is great. Plus, i love the scoop detail at the bottom. It is just really flattering from the side.
Verdugo Distressed Skinny Jean
My stylist instantly won me over with these jeans. I requested a pair of premium denim in this fix as a “splurge” and they are so worth it. I let my stylist know my favorite brands and she sent these awesome Paige denim ones. I love the subtle distressed knee and the color was spot on – not to mention, I just love the way Paige denim fit.
Sharon Thumb Hole Detail Pullover
I had a chunky sweater like this on my Pinterest board and my Stylist did even better by finding this one with unique thumb holes. One of my favorite things about Stitch Fix is receiving unique pieces. I also really liked the texture of this pullover the chunky neckline. It is a great piece for my closet this winter.
Austen Suede Bootie
Here’s the deal – I think booties are so cute, but these are my first pair to own. Honestly, I love how they look on other people, and in stores, but I have always been nervous about how they look on me personally. I decided it was time to step up my game and own some booties. I asked my stylist for a fun pair and these from Sole Society are a great winter addition.
