I can’t believe I’m writing my very first Stitch Fix Kids review! I’m seriously so giddy. I have been getting fixes for over 5 years and Kevin has been getting fixes since Stitch Fix Men became a thing. Now, we get our little babes their own boxes! And, boy were they excited (really Brooke was excited)!
I actually was not planning on doing a Stitch Fix Kids review, because I thought having them change outfits would just be too much and not super fun for them. I was SOOO wrong. Brooke has tried on every outfit about six times and couldn’t wait to show them off in front of the camera. She thought it was so fun!
So, here is how it all works. (I have a full length post on how it all works you can read here too) You can log into your Stitch Fix account and add your child(ren) to it. (Account-sharing is only for children. If your spouse decides to join Stitch Fix, he or she will need to create a separate account.) Next, Clothes are available for girls and boys sizes 2T-14! You fill out a style profile for each child and then select a date for arrival. You can leave notes for your stylist just like you do for yourself.
The best part, they have great price ranges just like they do for adults. They have items starting at just $10! All you need to do is convey your price points to your stylist. Shipping and returns are free as always. You’ll receive a pre-paid envelope to ship back everything you do not want.
We were pretty specific in our note to their stylist that we were looking for pieces to transition to fall including work out clothes, dressy clothes and casual clothes. Here are a few pictures of what Brooke got in her first fix and I will include screenshots of what Baby Kevin got because lets be real, I wasn’t about to tackle that boy to get pictures.
Now what you’ve been waiting for, here is a peek into what was in Brooke’s first fix:
Juliett Ruffle Sweater
This is one of my favorite pieces from Brooke’s fix. I love Stitch Fix because of the unique pieces I receive and I feel like this is such a unique sweater that has great detail. It is ultra soft, very durable and the ruffles are in the perfect spots!
Stephy Puff Sleeve Pullover
While this pullover was extremely soft, it just didn’t fit Brooke properly. The sleeves were a little long so they just hung over instead of being puffy.
Adaline Distressed Released Angled Hem Skinny Jean
We went back and forth on these jeans. They had such great detail and I loved them, but they were honestly just a little too big. We thought Brooke might grow into them but in the end, we were just worried they were too big.
Leila Ruffle Trim Moto Jacket
While this piece was super cute, it just wasn’t quite Brooke’s style. Also, the jacket was not tagged properly, so she couldn’t try it on because it was basically sewn shut on one arm. It would have been easy to fix, but she just didn’t like it that much.
Laila Drop Waist Tee
This was another BIG FAVORITE of mine. This shirt is unbelievably soft and so cute. It is perfect for transitioning to fall. Brooke can wear it now with shorts and into fall with the Candice Leggings.
Candice Legging
While these are slightly big on Brooke, we loved them so much and they had to stay with us. I love a printed floral legging and this just paired perfect with the tee above.
Sequoia Embroidered Denim Dress
This dress was very cute. Brooke really liked it and the sleeves fold up too for a “cooler” look. The detail was great and the quality was really good.
Daya Ruffle Sleeve Dress
Brooke has a lot of dresses that are similar to this one and while we really liked the style, this one just didn’t fit her right.
Nike Kristy Full Zip Graphic Hoodie
Brooke LOVED this Nike outfit. This hoodie was the first thing she wanted to try on. She is really into jackets (because she likes the zipper) and she loves pink. She was sold.
Nike Amara Active Legging
She was also sold on these leggings. They are so soft and comfortable, plus the designs are too cute.
Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of each of the pieces in Brooke’s fix. I feel like this fix was very personalized to her and she had so much fun with it. Honestly, I didn’t think she would enjoy trying on that many pieces, but she had a BLAST!
Now for Baby Kevin, I will just share the screenshots of his items below. Overall, I feel like they didn’t quite get Baby Kevin’s style yet. However, I know they were struggling to have items in stock in his size at the time we ordered. I really wanted pieces for fall and he received a lot of shorts. We did love the polo and the robot tee the most. They were slightly big, but they should last a while.
