Winter Ice Cream Cravings

Some of you may know that my parents and some of my family were in town this past weekend for our gender reveal party. My mom and I spent almost all day on Saturday getting stuff ready for the Reveal Party. We had so much fun shopping, baking, cooking and decorating. I don’t know what I would have done without all of her help and my dads too! They truly did so much to make our Gender Reveal Party perfect, including cutting a ton of chicken salad sandwiches into little cute star shapes. I will have to say that the sandwiches turned out to be my favorite. They were super delicious and bite size! We even cut all of the rice crispy treats into cute little stars. This took the longest and I was pretty tired by the time we got everything done.

And after a hard (fun) days work, this preggo lady needed ice cream, because lets face it, I pretty much crave ice cream all the time (even when I wasn’t pregnant). That should have been my first clue at the gender, I can’t get enough sweets. After going back and forth, we settled on something quick and easy, HÄAGEN-DAZS® Caramel Vanilla Pizzelle Gelato Bars. They are creamy vanilla gelato bars with 2 golden caramel ribbons, fully dipped in milk chocolate & crunchy Italian style pizzelle cookie pieces. Can you say yummy? They are my new favorite. You can grab them in the frozen section at Walmart and you won’t be disappointed. I seriously cannot get enough of them. They are the perfect portion and really hit the spot.
