Moving Weekend Update

Moving Weekend was a blast! I think I am still recuperating but it went so smooth. Both of our parents came down to help us move and we seriously don’t know what we would have done without them. We had so much moved on Thursday night and then got up really early Friday and got ready for the movers to move the rest of the big stuff. On Friday we also had all of our new stuff delivered and that went pretty smooth except for a few hiccups. All of us were really tired Friday night, so we just ordered in pizza and hung around the house.

We had so much stuff put away Friday night, it was amazing and already feeling like home. Saturday morning we woke up really slowly and did a few small things around the house, then went out shopping for a few things. & then I got re-baptized. I was baptized as a baby but decided to as an adult and with our parents here it seemed like the perfect time. It was also really special that Kevin got to baptize me, such a sweet moment for our family. After that, we we went to the Saturday night service at our church and then out to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.

It was such a great weekend. Sunday we all slept in and ate breakfast, then started working on hanging stuff on the walls. We a got few things done, then it was time for our parents to go home. I literally can’t express how awesome the weekend was and how grateful we were for our parents help. More pictures of the house coming soon!
