When prepping for the Big Game, snacks are always a huge necessity. Actually, lets be real, when prepping for any social gathering, snacks are always a BIG DEAL. I am personally a fan of the less is more theory in relation to game day snacks. I prefer simple snacks that have a cute touch. For example, I love using the Official OREO Cookie Balls recipe and dressing them up a little for whatever the occasion may be that day.
What You Need
1 pkg (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 3 cups)
4 pkg. (4 oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
Optional: White Sprinkles, Football Baking Cups
Official OREO Cookie Ball Recipe
MIX cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
CUSTOMIZE it with your own ingredient additions or decorative skills.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.
To customize my cookie balls, I added sticks to them so that they would be easy to grab and easy to dip in the chocolate. I also added white sprinkles on top (you could add your favorite teams’ colors) and cute little muffin holders as decorations. I found all my ingredients and decorations really quick at Walmart. The football muffin holders made the perfect touch for game day spirit without going over the top.
You could also use different OREO flavors to jazz yours up a bit! I really want to try the Birthday Cake ones next time with a white chocolate covering; I think they would be delicious. A pregnant girl can dream big when it involves sweets. Hope you all are having a great Monday and that I didn’t make you too hungry!

Oreo Balls are my go-to recipe when I have to take a dish somewhere … They’re always a hit! I use my food processor to chop the Oreos prior to mixing and it always works really well. + I use the leftover Oreos from the food processor to sprinkle on top like you did with the white sprinkles! Such a great desert.
